In January 2019, Jason McLeod was featured in Ground Water Canada’s edition of The Top 10 Ground Water Professionals under the age of 40. Congratulations Jason!
Jason is the President and heart of McLeod Water Wells Ltd. His hard work and determination has enabled his company to grow into a successful and thriving business. Let’s take a look at how Jason got started………
Jason McLeod graduated from the Drilling and Blasting program at Sir Sandford Fleming College, Lindsay Ontario, in 1998, with an instant passion for the ground water industry. Already possessing a strong work ethic and desire to learn, practical and hands-on experience in the drilling industry has established the strong foundation of his advancement today. With encouragement from family and friends, Jason recognized his opportunity and took the leap of faith in August 2006, purchasing his very own 1978 TH55 Ingersoll Rand drill rig and support truck. Jason, along with his wife Lisa, formed a small well drilling company where Jason has worked extremely hard to build an excellent reputation for himself. He is known as being honest, fair and a very skilled driller. He has even been given the name “The Well King” because of his success in finding water in some “tough to find water” areas! McLeod Water Wells Ltd is in its 12th year (2018) of business and continues to grow and evolve. Under its leadership from Jason, it has developed into a fleet of 3 drill rigs, 3 support trucks, pump service vehicles, mini-excavator and a team of hard-working and dedicated employees. McLeod Water Wells Ltd is currently one of the largest water well contractors in its service area of South Western Ontario, specializing in drilling and service. Since establishing business, Jason has been an active member of the Ontario Ground Water Association and strives to keep our ground water clean and safe everyday on the job.
